Laurent-Perrier arrives as English’s House Champagne

After a 15-year relationship with Moutard Champagne as our house brand, we are very pleased to announce that we have moved over to Laurent-Perrier, who will serve as our House Champagne at English’s of Brighton.

A few months ago we were invited by Laurent-Perrier to stock their champagnes and to sell the Laurent-Perrier Brut as our House Champagne. This is quite an honour as only a handful of restaurants nationwide have been invited, and we are the only restaurant in Brighton to serve this wonderful champagne. Usually found served in high-end, 5-star London hotels and Michelin starred restaurants, we feel flattered to have been asked and very excited to add Laurent Perrier to our wine list.

Not only is Laurent-Perrier a fantastic producer, they also reflect our core values. They are the largest independent family-owned House in Champagne, with a heritage dating back to 1812. Their champagne is produced using only the best grapes, with every bottle made up of 50% Chardonnay – double the average normally used to make Champagne, and every bottle is aged for a minimum of three years. We’re very excited to be working with a company with even more heritage and experience than English’s.
