Winter brings two new menus, and the start of the festive period at English’s

We’re very pleased to announce the launch of our brand new Winter Menu at English’s of Brighton. Head Chef Clayton Green and his team have worked really hard on this menu, and we think it showcases some of the best dishes that we’ve served at English’s to date, including a few classics that you might have spotted before.

This menu features a whole host of new dishes, including starters like chicken liver & Cognac parfait with marinated figs and toasted brioche. Main courses include monkfish ballotine in pancetta ham with celeriac remoulade, wild mushroom a la Grecque and truffle oil (a personal favourite of ours!) and we’ve got four brand new desserts, including roasted chestnut & orange crème brûléewith Grand Marnier sorbet.

On top of that, we’ve also launched our Festive Menu, which is now available to order in the restaurant. Again, we think this menu is a fantastic reflection of our a la Carte dishes with a Christmas-twist, making it the perfect way to celebrate the run-up to Christmas, whether that’s by popping in at lunchtime to enjoy a meal at our oyster bar, or by getting together with colleagues to celebrate a successful year at work. There aren’t any restrictions when you’re celebrating this Christmas either, so everyone in your party can order from either of our menus – and if you’re ordering from our Festive Menu you’ll receive a free glass of fizz and an oyster on the house.
