Hermitage Chez Richon 1999 Grande Champagne (40% abv)
Deep gold towards brown in colour, this cognac shows true mocha and toffee flavours with some spice complexity. Chez Richon is a small, well known and highly regarded family house who have been associated with this estate for many generations. As the producer does not sell to large blenders, he is able to concentrate purely on the style and flavour of their own products.
Hermitage Chez Richon 1975, Grande Champagne (47% abv)
Coming from the same estate near Segonzac in Grande Champagne Chez Richon are offering a complex cognac with powerful flavours. Straw to orange gold in colour with a pineapple and roasted walnut aroma which certainly come through in the taste.
Hermitage 30 y.o. Grande Champagne (40% abv)
As is typical from this producer the cognac has some rich mocha and coffee tastes, with some oaky flavours. Nutmeg and vanilla are also present. Established in 1850 and owned by the same family ever since this producer is a master distiller producing highly sought after cognacs.
Chateau de Beaulon 1975 XO Fins Bois (40% abv)
Christian Thomas has produced a fine cognac exhibiting floral, violet tones. Peach, vanilla, fresh fruits and a little nuttiness are noticeable in the taste. Coming from the east side of Gironde where the land is virtually pure chalk. It is perceived to be one of the finest vine producing areas in all Charante.

Complex walnut and orange peel aromas giving a powerful walnut, orange and leather flavour. This cognac has a long and authoritative finish that can last 20 minutes.
