New Autumn Set Menu – The Highlights!

As the nights draw in and the heaters turn up a notch on our terrace, our head chef, Yuri Magni, has been busy putting together our new menus for your delight. Below we feature some of the highlights from the new Autumn Set Menu.

Crab Mousse

In Chef Yuri’s constant quest for originality, we present to you a classic, light and flavourful crab mousse paired with delicious deep-fried churros, always a winner whether savoury or sweet.Salmon tranche

Chef Yuri has come up with an excellent interpretation of the often-overlooked grilled salmon. Cooking it on the tranche means much richer flavour is imparted into the fish during cooking, then pairing it with miso and Thai basil gives it a warm rich flavour while still retaining a light healthy feel to the dish.Treacle tart

Well, what more is there to say? This is a classic baked cheesecake flavoured with treacle – what’s not to like, in fact, if you came in just for that I would not think it odd!Patterson's

Patterson’s Chardonnay

We are proud to have the lightly oaked, crisp aromatic Patterson’s Chardonnay as our House Wine at English’s. Produced in Australia, bottled in the UK and enjoyed at English’s, a real crowd pleaser!Dessert wine

As a special treat to round off the perfect evening (of course we have not mentioned the obligatory 30-year-old brandy – that goes without saying!) why not pair your dessert with an elegantly luscious, marmalade scented dessert wine from Pomport near Bergerac.

The Set Menu is only £20 for two courses and £25 for three, providing quality, convenience and value.
